Welcome to my personal web site. My name is Md. Iftekhar Tanveer - a proud citizen of Bangladesh. I am a graduate student of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in University of Memphis, TN, USA. I am also serving in CVPIA lab as a graduate assistant. I have received my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Bangladesh in March 2007.

My passion is to study and think about new technologies - specially related to Computer Vision, Programming and Electronics. My research interest is somewhat related to Image Processing, Computer Vision, Data Mining and Machine Learning. Currently I am working on Automatic Detection of Facial Expressions. My preferred way for that is Active Appearance Model (AAM).
